Inner Work Basic Tools

Completing inner work comes down to a few basic tools that can be used in any combination in order to further achieve holistic health. There is no one way to best accomplish the end goals that inner work leads to. Try putting each of these practices into your daily routine, preferably before bed. Being able to move your mindset further into the positive thinking and aspirations will give a greater sense of a whole self. Practicing each of these daily helps to build on prior experience in order to continue improve holistic health.

Inner Work :

Breathing - practice simple breathing techniques such as counting to 10.

Goals - set up obtainable goals for your health, work, home, spiritual.

Get it out - writing out what happened throughout the day allows for reflection on situations.

Create a space - create a place that ideally is free from distraction and allows for a feeling of refueling. Being able to "get away" or spend time with yourself allows for futher interpersonal understanding.

Meditate - this doesn't have to be complicated. Just being able to stop and focus on breating and breathe is all it takes. There are many resources that can help start the journey into meditation. Becoming aware is greatly improved with practicing meditation.

Be open - in order to move forward in healing, you will have to be open to working on old traumas. Understanding and working through past traumas helps to show us where we once were and how we came out on the other side of these trials in life.
